Local MP continues to fight Library decision

Wyre and Preston North MP Ben Wallace has asked the Culture Minister Karen Bradley to investigate Lancashire County Council’s decision to close some libraries across his constituency.

Local Wyre MP Ben Wallace was recently asked by Stalmine-With-Staynall Residents' Association to Judge the Scarecrow Competition which was on a royal theme to mark the Queen's 90th birthday as apart of Stalmine Festival Week.

I hope you all had a pleasant Easter, I have been able to spend some time with my family over the holidays here in Lancashire. It’s back to normal duties now and as you can imagine Westminster is very busy at the moment.

It is an extremely busy period in Westminster at the moment but, I am happy that I have been able to spend additional time in Lancashire. While it is important to represent the area in Parliament, I always enjoy traveling around the constituency, speaking to residents in order to discover issues of local concern.
